Softball Referee (Part-Time)

Referee Position Referees are responsible for understanding and enforcing rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, competitive environment. This is a part-time role, great for anyone who likes being outside, enjoys sports, and is looking for supplemental income.Responsibilities:Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all playersUnderstand and kindly and fairly enforce each sport's rulesCommunicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc.Qualifications:Must have played the sport beforeMust be available for a minimum of eight weeks, as follows:Weekday availability from 5:30pm-9:30pmWeekend availability between 10am - 3pmMust have reliable transportation to and from field locationsAdditional Information:People with a passion for sports and social activitiesMust value punctuality and professionalismPrior referee experience a plus, but not requiredExperience in diffusing challenging situations a plusVolo is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that proudly pursues and hires a diverse workforce.
