Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Prior Authorization Coordinator to join our team and help us continue to grow and succeed.Position Overview As a Prior Authorization Coordinator, you will be responsible for obtaining prior authorizations from insurance companies for medical procedures and services for our clients. You will work closely with our clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate processing of prior authorizations.ResponsibilitiesReview and verify insurance coverage for medical procedures and servicesCommunicate with medical providers to obtain necessary documentation for prior authorizationsSubmit prior authorization requests to insurance companies and follow up on statusKeep track of all prior authorization requests and ensure they are completed in a timely mannerWork with insurance companies to resolve any issues or denials related to prior authorizationsEducate clients on the prior authorization process and provide support and guidance as neededMaintain accurate records and documentation of all prior authorization activitiesStay up-to-date on insurance policies and procedures related to prior authorizationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 2 years experience in prior authorization coordination or related fieldKnowledge of medical terminology and insurance policiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskProficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applicationsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPrior experience working in a sports management or healthcare setting is a plusWe OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for growth and advancement within the companyA dynamic and supportive work environmentThe chance to work with top athletes and make a difference in their careersIf you are passionate about sports and have a strong background in prior authorization coordination, we want to hear from you!
