The developer will design, build, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, focusing on performance, reliability, and security. Day-to-day tasks include implementing RESTful APIs, integrating with databases and third-party services, writing unit and integration tests, and troubleshooting production issues. The role also involves collaborating with front-end developers to define API contracts, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical decisions and documentation. The developer will work closely with product and operations teams to refine requirements and deliver features on schedule.Qualifications Strong back-end web development skills, including Software Development and Node.js-based application architecture.Proficiency in JavaScript for both server-side and client-side development.Experience with front-end development concepts and frameworks, including Redux.js or similar state management tools.Knowledge of modern web application practices such as RESTful API design, authentication, and data modeling.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Ability to debug, optimize, and maintain existing codebases in a production environment.Comfort working in an on-site team setting in Junction City, OR, with effective communication and collaboration skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL), testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
