GIS Java Developer
Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionProvide enterprise-level GIS web application and development: Test and debug GIS applications and systems in an enterprise environment.Create and maintain secure web-based data entry templates and interactive geospatial services for technical and non-technical users; Provide desktop or web tools to create spatial data from scratch or by adapting existing data sets.Convert coordinate data (latitude/longitude) into Linear Referencing Data and vice versa and update and maintain the spatial database with a focus on SQL queries and maintenance queries.Participate in the whole Software Development Life Cycle to create a new Report Management System based on legacy applications to manage and publish reports using JavaScript ES6, Angular 8 and SQL Server Database to allow thousands of firms sharing trading information. Involvement in software architecture to set up firm-wide common services and UI layout library using Android12 and PrimeNg Library.Work with web administrator and data administrator to provide live support for multiple applications in production to upgrade message communication from SOAP and XML to JSON and CSV format using RESTful service, FTP, WebAPI2, and Entity Framework Database First approach.Contribute to database development using Postgres/Oracle to create complex database queries to advance PL/SQL, packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to implement business logic.Design, build, and deploy projects for different environments like DEV, Stagging, and PROD in both on-premise and cloud infrastructure using Intellij, Maven, Git, AWS automation, Jenkins DevOps CI/CD pipeline.RequirementsEducation/Experience Requirements: Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or GIS related field;Minimum 2 years of GIS application and development experience.
