Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and assist healthcare providers in a clinical setting. Will position float between units: No Is on-call required? No Are weekends required? No Are block schedules required? No What are expected ratios? N/A Special requirements: We are looking for someone with experience with Pediatric vaccines and Family Practice. GWFM has one of the largest pediatric patient volumes and being comfortable with pediatric patients is a must. Responsibilities - Perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a healthcare provider - Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information - Assist with patient examinations and procedures - Administer medications as directed by the provider - Schedule patient appointments and tests - Maintain medical records accurately and confidentially - Ensure efficient patient flow through the clinic - Follow up with patients on test results and referrals Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $21.05 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: 10 hour shift 4x10 Day shift Experience: Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required) Pediatric vaccines and Family Practice: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Are you certified/registered medical assistant?
