Machine Operator 1Millerbernd Manufacturing is looking for a Machine Operator 1 to join our team in Winsted, MN. This Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, loading, and unloading various machines/equipment to manufacture metal products in accordance with product specifications.Job Title: Machine Operator 1Location: onsite in Winsted, MNSalary Range: $21.46 25.25 per hour (Non-Exempt) (In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)Shift Schedule: 1st shift: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3pm; 2nd shift: Monday Thursday 3pm - 1am or Weekend shift: Friday - Sunday 5am - 5pmShift Differential: 1st shift: N/A, 2nd shift $1.50/hour, Weekend shift - $2.50/hourAs a Machine Operator 1, you will:Proficiently operates at least one machine in the assigned areaCross trains on other machines in assigned areaBasic understanding of the machines in assigned areaEffectively set up machines to start a production cycleLoad and feed metal stock and other materials into manual or automatic machinesMonitors gauges as required to ensure quality workVerify end parts are consistent with blue print specificationsAccurately label all parts for routing to next operationPerform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as requiredEscalates equipment or quality issuesMonitor the production board and internal paperwork to perform tasks in the designated sequenceEnter job data in production tracking systemMeet and maintain quality standardsMaintains area cleanliness and completed 5S checklistsMaterial handles for assigned area as requiredAbility to work with others as part of a high-performance teamAbility to adapt to changing work prioritiesPerform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirementsRole Qualifications as a Machine Operator 1:Effective and appropriate verbal and written communication skillsAbility to set up and safely operate equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to perform basic shop math functionsAbility to use forklift, hoist, crane and other handling equipmentAbility to operate various power and hand toolsAbility to use various measuring devicesAbility to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methodsJoin Millerbernd Manufacturing Where Your Career Can Take ShapeAbout Us: At Millerbernd, we don't just offer jobswe build careers.
