Artificial Intelligence Engineer
AI EngineerI'm working with a global engineering and consultancy business that's making AI-assisted development the default way its delivery teams work. They're building out a team that uses AI as part of how they engineer every day, and they need engineers who already work that way. What you'll be doing:
- Using AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Codex and similar) as your default way of working
- Critically reviewing AI-generated code and output, and catching hallucinations, wrong field names and bad logic before they ship
- Contributing to CI/CD pipeline scripts in Python and Bash, and understanding how AI steps plug into delivery
- Writing LLM API calls for automation tasks (POST to chat completions, parse the JSON response)
- Acting on AI-driven PR analysis such as risk flags, test selection and architectural warnings
- Adding AI-powered steps to existing automation and pipelines
- Working within the client's AI guidelines, so no PII or secrets in prompts
