Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-1p, flexibleThe cook is responsible for preparing balanced nutritional meals to woman who are living in a residential addiction treatment program. The cook will ensure all areas of the kitchen, dining area, pantry, cooking utensils, etc. are clean, neat, organized, and stocked as required by food and safety standards. This is the perfect job for an experienced and passionate cook who has a strong desire to implement a menu that provides adequate nutritional value. Area served is Walker County.Food Handlers permit, preferredMinimum of five years' experience, preferredMust be able to speak, read, and understand basic cooking proceduresUnderstanding the knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling proceduresExperience cooking in a residential facility, non-profit, hospital, or nursing home preferred.
