Job DescriptionCNC\n& Manual Machinist – 1st Shift (Mon–Thurs) \nCanton\nGear Manufacturing & Design – Canton, OH\nWe are a 65-year-old, AS9100-certified precision manufacturing\ncompany adding a CNC & Manual Machinist to our 1st shift team.\nThis is a four-day workweek (Mon–Thurs), with stable work, clean\nequipment, and opportunities to grow.\nWhat We Offer\n\n\t\nPay depending on experience\n\t\n\nMon–Thurs, 1st shift schedule – 3-day weekends\n\tevery week\n\t\nClean, climate-controlled shop\n\t\nTraining available for motivated candidates\n\t\nLong-term stability with a company that's been in business\n\t65+ years\n\t\nOvertime available on Fridays (optional)\n\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\n\tOperate manual lathes, mills, and CNC machines\n\t\nInspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges\n\t\nRead blueprints (will train if needed)\n\t\nWork with a small, experienced team\n\n\nWho We're Looking For\n\n\tExperience in machining is a plus—but we'll train\n\tcandidates with mechanical ability\n\t\nReliability and willingness to learn\n\t\nAbility to use basic hand tools\n\t\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\t\nWe are a Drug Free work facility\n\n
