MFA Foundry offers opportunities to develop technical skills in a hands-on environment with modern equipment and tools.Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer is responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for machining and milling operations at MFA Foundry. This project based, on-site role in Los Angeles, CA involves interpreting technical drawings and specifications, selecting appropriate tooling and machining strategies, and generating programs that ensure accurate, efficient production. Day-to-day tasks include testing programs on HAAS CNC machines, troubleshooting machining issues, adjusting feeds, speeds, and tool paths, and collaborating with machinists and engineers to meet quality and productivity goals. The CNC Programmer will also assist with process improvements, document programming standards, and help ensure that safety and quality requirements are consistently met on the shop floor. Opportunity to stay on full time after current projects completion.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in CNC Programming and Programming for machining operations specifically with Mastercam 2026 Candidates should possess solid Machining and Milling skills for practical, shop-floor application of CNC programs.Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret and is proficient in working with STLsExperience with CNC control systems (specificallynwith V6 and V8 Haas) and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM) is preferred.Knowledge of tooling selection, workholding, feeds and speeds, and metalworking materials is beneficial.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment are beneficial.Prior experience in a foundry, machine shop, or manufacturing environment and relevant technical or vocational training are beneficial.Prior experience working specifically with 316L
