MATERIAL HANDLER / FILTER PACKAGING ASSOCIATE $16.00/HR HOUSTON, TX 77066 SUNDAY – WEDNESDAY | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM 4-DAY WORKWEEK | 10-HOUR SHIFTS MANUFACTURING / PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT HEAVY LIFTING • HANDS-ON WORK • STAY ACTIVE We are hiring a hardworking and dependable Material Handler / Filter Packaging Associate for a busy manufacturing operation in Houston. This is a physically demanding, hands-on production position . Employees will be responsible for lifting, moving, handling, and packaging filter products , including heavy lifting of 50+ lbs. This is NOT a sitting or desk job. You will be on your feet, moving materials and packaging products throughout your shift. If you're comfortable with heavy physical work, repetitive lifting, and staying busy for a full 10-hour shift , this may be a great opportunity for you. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Lift, move, handle, and package filter products and materials. Perform heavy lifting of 50+ lbs. Move products and materials between work areas. Package finished products according to production requirements. Perform repetitive lifting, handling, and packaging tasks. Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packaging. Follow production instructions and safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work at a consistent pace in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Work as part of a production team. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS HEAVY PHYSICAL LABOR IS REQUIRED. Candidates must be able to: Repeatedly lift and handle 50+ lbs. Lift, push, pull, carry, and move heavy materials. Stand and walk for most of a 10-hour shift . Frequently bend, crouch, twist, reach, and move. Perform repetitive lifting and packaging tasks. Maintain a steady production pace throughout the shift. Safely handle heavy products and materials. Maintain focus and attention to detail while performing physical work. REQUIREMENTS Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED. Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, packaging, assembly, or material handling experience preferred. Must be comfortable with heavy lifting of 50+ lbs. Must be able to perform physical labor for an entire 10-hour shift. Must have reliable attendance and transportation. Must be able to follow instructions and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and quality. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
