Extraction Technician

Job Description:Extraction TechnicianJob Purpose:The Extraction Technician is an established position within a high volume regulated Medical and Adult-use licensed Manufacturer of Infused Products. The Extractor is responsible performing extractions as well as other miscellaneous duties whilst working compliantly within state and federal regulatory frameworks.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Perform Extractions on various types of cannabis Biomass.Maintain and clean Extraction Equipment and let Lead Extractor or Manager of Extraction know of any issues or damages to equipment.Work with Lead Extractor Equipment to help improve processes as well as identify any potential bottlenecks on the production floor.Whip waxes and budders and needed.Transfill solvents such as butane and propane as needed.Keep extraction Room clean (ie. walls, surfaces, floors, etc.)Help lead Extractor maintain necessary supplies for the extraction process.Working Conditions:Production floor environment Must wear required PPE, including mask, hairnet and lab coat when on production floor. Requires lifting of 50+ lbSupervision Received:Lead extractorMinimum Experience Requirements:Experience with using hand tools such as wrenches1 year Industry Experience1 year Hydrocarbon extraction. Short path Distillation experience a plus.Minimum Education Requirements:HS Diploma or equivalentPreferred Education Requirements:BS in Chemistry or related fieldRequired skills:Must be 21+Must have reliable transportationStrong verbal and written communication skillsCapabilities with computer systems, software and hardware common to manufacturing facilitiesPossess a valid and current MED BadgeExcellent attention to detailSound organizational proficienciesAbility to conduct oneself in a professional and ethical mannerCritical time managementAbility to identify and effectively prioritize actions and requirements.Knowledge of extraction and refinement processesPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods of time as requiredManual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers, type.Ability to lift up to 50 lbsWork evenings as required during Covid outbreak schedule or when adding new shiftsJ-18808-Ljbffr
