This is a senior, generalist role suited to someone who is highly organized, exercises good judgment, and is comfortable stepping into whatever the business needs without waiting to be asked.You’ll partner closely with the CEO to drive day-to-day operations, optimize how leadership spends time, and help the company run more effectively at every level. You’ll flex across executive operations, internal communications, culture, events, and special projects. This role reports to the CEO and offers direct access to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors. For the right person, it’s an opportunity to learn about building successful companies, contribute meaningfully to the business, and grow your broader leadership skills.This role is based out of our San Francisco, CA office (minimum 3 days/week).The Day-to-DayExecutive Support & CEO PartnershipPartner directly with the CEO to manage priorities, key initiatives and align on the highest-impact workAct as a thought partner bringing structure, clarity, and judgment to complex situationsProactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve leadership operationsCalendar, Travel & LogisticsOwn complex calendaring across internal and external stakeholdersAnticipate conflicts, optimize scheduling, and protect focus timeCoordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, and logisticsManage expenses and operational details with precisionExecutive Team Collaboration Maintain close alignment with the Chief of Staff on priorities, planning, and executionBuild strong relationships with the executive leadership team to support key initiativesProvide ad hoc support to executives as needed, ensuring alignment across leadershipOffice, Culture, & EventsOwn the in-office experience in San Francisco and help foster a creative, energizing and organized environmentPlan and support team events ranging from casual gatherings to major company milestones, including executive offsites and Board of Directors meetings, team-building, product launches, and workshopsCoordinate All Hands meetings, including logistics and speaker prepSupport onboarding for new hires and create a strong in-person experience for visiting candidatesManage VSCO swag inventory, including distribution, tracking, and reorderingOperations & Administrative SupportAct as a professional point of contact for internal and external communicationsSupport cross-functional projects aligned with company goals and visionManage on-site meetings, including catering, dinners, and offsite activitiesQualifications5-8 years of experience supporting C-suite executives or senior leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentProven ability to operate as a high-autonomy generalist in fast-paced environmentsExceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslySharp problem-solving instincts with a bias toward actionHigh emotional intelligence (EQ); diplomatic, thoughtful, and confidentProfessional, polished communicator—both written and verbalAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrityComfortable with ambiguity and constantly shifting prioritiesA genuine appreciation for creativity, photography, or the artsWhat Makes You Stand OutYou act like an owner, not a task-takerYou anticipate needs before they’re articulatedYou’re equally comfortable in strategy conversations and execution detailsYou step outside your lane when needed and fill gaps proactivelyYou bring structure to chaos and momentum to stuck problemsYou genuinely care about helping leaders and teams do their best workWhy VSCO?We value the creative process and our employees’ opinions — input is encouraged, regardless of your position or title. The base salary range for this role is $150,000-175,000. Salary is one component of our total compensation package. This position also qualifies for bonuses and equity (i.e. stock options). The benefits available for this position include flexible time off, a 401K retirement plan, insurance (medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, short and long term disability), and 11 paid holidays. We also provide paid sick time as required by state and local law. Additional benefits and perks are also offered for this position.
