Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.We have an opening for a Factory Support Lead is typically the person responsible for managing all incoming projects into production labs. Helps support labs with critical tank swaps that require special skills to accomplish. The selected candidate will be working closely with management and support functions to help bring in new equipment in a timely manner. This is a role that is dedicated to working on the factory floor while supporting clean room environments.Overtime will occasionally be required depending on key projects or work tasks that could impact factory production.What You Will DoConduct helium, Argon, CO2, oxygen tank swaps throughout the factoriesConduct tank testing for purityUse several types of small hand toolsConduct property audits while locating numerous pieces of equipmentFactory services protocols and support coveragePrep and clean equipment for FOD fortress introductionMust be comfortable working on tasks alone with minimal supervisionSupport multi-environment lab ECA (environment control labs) Cleanrooms to Red.This is a 1st shift, onsite position in Goleta, CA.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experienceExperience working in a manufacturing/production environmentQualifications We PreferExperience with FOD and FOD-prevention methodsExperience with ESD protocolsExperience using hand toolsSome project improvement experience in manufacturing settingExperience in introducing new pieces of equipment into the factory floor including FOD fortressOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
