Electrical Engineer with Wind Turbine

Job Title: Sr. Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with Wind Turbine exp Location: New Bedford, MA (Onsite) Duration: 6+ Months Visa: USC, GC, GCEAD, H4EAD, H1B, TN, L2, E3 Experience: 8 years Skill set are needed as follows: Technical knowledge in wind turbine technology and auxiliary system (one mechanical and one electrical skillset) Pro-active thinking & action to solves quality issues. Multiple issues management & analytical approach to problem solving. Individual contributor, highly motivated to take ownership of technical issues Ability to communicate on technical issue throughout the organization Problem simplification, presentation skills and effective in selling ideas to reach solution. Positive mindset with good verbal and written English & local language skills. Self-motivated Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university. Between 5 to 10 years’ experience at design offices and/or field engineer Good English Skills Will be the interface between Hub team (erection and commissioning) and back office engineering team, interfacing with Project Engineering Manager, Design Engineering, Transport & Installation, Commissioning, Customer and Supplier. Shall Pre-requisite EHS/trainings o GWO Basic Safety Training (First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Work at Height) o GWO Basic Technical Training (Installation) o Hailo Training – Hailo Lift User HWS-01 (e-learning) o GWO Basic Technical Training (Mechanical: Installation & Mechanical) o GE Haliade-X Rescue and GE Pre Assembly Site Induction provided by GE at site Job Type: Contract Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: On the road
