I&C Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced I&C Engineer to provide engineering support services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams. This role supports engineering analysis, field walkdowns, design development, and the preparation of technical design output documents in accordance with SRR processes and procedures.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide engineering analysis, design development, and design output documentation for assigned engineering teams.
* Develop and support technical documents including P&IDs, control logics, loop diagrams, instrument indices, setpoint lists, instrument and control valve specifications, DCS and PLC design documents, instrument location and installation designs, panel layouts, and vendor document reviews.
* Conduct system walkdowns in the field to support design accuracy and implementation.
* Interface with vendors, fabricators, and other engineering organizations, including occasional off-site travel as required.
* Perform work in accordance with SRR processes, procedures, and programmatic guidance.
*Required QualificationsEducation*
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I&C Engineering, or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of these disciplines.
*Experience and Skills*
* Minimum of five (5) years of design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry.
* Demonstrated design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
* Ability to perform system walkdowns in field environments.
* Experience with 2D MicroStation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred.
* Work Schedule and TravelThis position is scheduled for a 40-hour work week. Multiple work schedules are possible, including 5/8s, 4/10s, and 9/80s. Occasional off-site travel may be required to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other engineering organizations!
Pay: $54.10 - $81.16 per hour
