Master Planner

We're looking for a senior-level Planner to lead production and material planning efforts that ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to optimize schedules and inventory, drive process improvements, and serve as a subject matter expert within the planning function. This position is onsite at our Solon, OH facility.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain production schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacityAdjust plans to accommodate changes (e.g., rush orders, downtime, supply constraints)Monitor and manage inventory levels (materials, WIP, finished goods)Align production plans with labor and plant capacityCollaborate across departments to ensure on-time delivery and clear communication of risks or changesAnalyze data and forecasts to anticipate demand and optimize planning decisionsMaintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems (Dynamics, SAP, etc.)Identify and resolve bottlenecks, shortages, and scheduling conflictsTrack and report KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory turns, forecast accuracy)Qualifications7+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or related fieldStrong ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)Solid understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory controlExperience with Power BI or similar tools preferredLean / continuous improvement knowledge (Six Sigma a plus)What Sets You ApartAbility to manage complex planning activities with minimal supervisionStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsEffective communicator across functions and levelsAble to prioritize, adapt quickly, and perform under pressureEducationAssociate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field preferredWe're an equal opportunity employer.
