Machine Builder 3Job Category: ManufacturingLocation: Burke Porter, An Ascential Technologies Company Shelby Township, MI 48315, USAJob DetailsEssential Job FunctionsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand assembly requirements and specificationsAssemble and integrate various mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components to build automated machines according to product specificationsInstall and align machine components ensuring proper fit and functionalityConduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of machine components, subassemblies, and complete systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to quality standardsCollaborate with Engineers and other team members to identify and resolve technical issues during the machine assembly and testing processInterfaces with customers and vendors as necessaryPerforms other duties as assignedSkills & ExperienceProven experience (minimum of 5 years) as a Machine Builder, Machine Assembler, or similar role in manufacturing equipmentMust be able to accurately read and interpret blue printsStrong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques and toolsStrong problem solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectivelyAbility to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment with effective communication skillsExcellent problem solving and communication skillsMust posses own hand toolsMust have valid driver's license and must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally at 20% or less per calendar yearFrequently moves, lifts, transports, positions, and installs equipment and material greater than 20lbsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
