Summary:Sun Bum is seeking a detail-oriented Product Development Specialist to provide administrative support to the Product Development team. This role supports sample organization, basic data entry updates, and document filing using established processes under close supervision. You’ll complete task-based support activities for new and existing products based on clear instructions and templates provided by the team. Product Development Specialist will report into the Senior Manager, Product Development.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Product Pipeline SupportComplete administrative tasks and follow-ups as assigned by the Product Development teamEnter updates into trackers and timelines using information provided by the teamShare status updates only when directed (no independent stakeholder follow-up)Sampling CoordinationSupport sample requests by sending request details to vendors and internal teams as directed by the Product Development team.Receive, document, organize, and control incoming samples with accurate tracking and labelingHelp maintain sample inventory and notify the team when samples need attentionField Testing CoordinationPrepare and package materials for field testing using instructions provided Collect and organize feedback responses into a spreadsheet or tracker (no summarizing conclusions) Format presentation slides using an existing template; content provided by the teamArtwork Routing & ReleaseSupport the artwork routing process by tracking status updates as directed Assist with distributing final artwork files to internal teams or external partnersHelp maintain organized records of artwork versions and approvalsClinical Testing SupportAssist with preparing and shipping samples to testing labs using provided instructionsEnter updates into tracking logs and documentation as directed by the teamSupport filing and organization of testing-related documents Product Documentation & SystemsAssist with organizing product documentation in shared systems and foldersSupport updating project information in tools such as Asana or PLM as directedSave and organize documentation in designated locations using provided guidelinesRequired Skills / Experience / Competencies:Bachelor’s degree in science or related fields preferred (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering)2+ years’ product development experienceExperience with developing consumer goods, preferably personal care, and OTC’sDemonstrated ability in launching world class productsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointStrong teamwork skillsPreferred Skills / Experience / Competencies: Worked and is familiar with Specright, PLM, ASANAJob Requirements / Compensation:Full Time Up to 10% of overnight travel$68,400-$89,775 is the salary range for this position. It represents a portion of the overall package, and includes flexibility based on the candidate's qualifications.Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assignedat any time with or without notice as assigned by the Manager.
