Floater / Classroom SpecialistWe are looking for a part time to full time Floater / Classroom Specialist who loves working with children, enjoys variety, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. This role supports classrooms across the center, stepping in where needed to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality care. The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every classroom.Candidates must be 16 years of age or older and hold current CPR/First Aid certification (or be willing to obtain it).ResponsibilitiesSupport classrooms as needed, including covering breaks, absences, and transitionsAssist with diapering and toilet training as requiredEngage children through age-appropriate educational play, storytelling, and activitiesObserve children and support the development of social skills and self-esteemEncourage positive peer interactions and assist with resolving occasional conflictsHelp implement classroom curriculum and activities (shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.)Supervise children during play, nap, and snack times to ensure safetyMaintain a clean, organized classroom environment in accordance with health and safety standardsCollaborate with teachers and leadership to support daily classroom needsCommunicate professionally with staff and families when appropriateQualifications & SkillsNo experience required — training providedUnderstanding of child development principles and early childhood education practicesFamiliarity with classroom safety and sanitation guidelinesStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to adapt quickly and work confidently in multiple classroomsFriendly, reliable, and calm under pressureA balance of creativity and practical problem-solvingCPR/First Aid certification (required within 30 days of hire)Ability to complete all state licensing requirements and required trainingsCompensation, Benefits & Growth OpportunitiesBase pay is determined by education and experience.
