This leadership role combines hands-on technical expertise with team management responsibilities, overseeing maintenance technicians, mobile equipment specialists, housekeeping personnel, and vendor partnerships across multiple facility systems. You will serve as the strategic link between operational demands and maintenance execution, managing everything from HVAC and power systems to life safety and environmental compliance. Your leadership and technical acumen will directly impact facility reliability, safety performance, and operational efficiency while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within your team.What your day-to-day will look like: Lead and manage maintenance technicians, mobile equipment technicians, housekeeping personnel, and industrial cleaning teams Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical systems, building automation, and life safety equipment Manage vendor contracts and coordinate with outside contractors to ensure project completion and compliance standards Conduct safety tours, incident investigations, and ensure 100% safety training compliance across all team members Provide management coverage for all shifts and weekends, including training and vacation coverage as required Plan, manage, and implement facility improvement projects while maintaining regular communication with site leadership Monitor and report on key performance indicators including PM completion rates, work order response times, and safety metricsRequired Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with technical certification or associate degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance with demonstrated leadership of multi-trade teams Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC/R systems, electrical power systems, building automation, and life safety equipment Strong understanding of OSHA, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements for facility operations Proven experience managing vendor contracts and coordinating with external contractors and service providers Excellent communication skills with ability to interface effectively with building occupants and senior management Valid driver's license and ability to provide coverage across multiple shifts and weekends as neededPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or related technical field Experience with CMMS systems and facility management software platforms Knowledge of ISO compliance requirements and environmental management systems Fleet management experience including mobile equipment maintenance and inventory control Experience in industrial or manufacturing facility environments with union labor groups Professional certifications in facilities management (CFM, FMP) or related technical areas Background in energy conservation initiatives and sustainability programsLocation: Langhorne, PAWork Shift: Multiple shifts with weekend coverage requirements
