Role: SQL/SSIS Server Developer/Analyst
Location: Charleston, WV (onsite & need only locals)
Must-have skills: 3+y as SQL DBA; SSIS,SSAS; Data Definition Language (DDL)
Requirements:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Charleston, WV (required);
Experience with SQL Server 2008 and higher including experience in T-SQL (3+years);
Experience in creation databases, backup and recovery in SQL Server (3+ years);
Experience migrating prior versions of SQL server to SQL Server 12 on Windows servers including conversion of DTS packages to SSIS (2+ years);
Experience installing SSIS and SSAS for SQL server 2008 (2+ years);
Experience in command line DDL operations and scripting (2+ years).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develop and manage SQL Server databases, including T-SQL programming;
Create and implement backup and recovery strategies for SQL Server databases;
Migrate databases from previous SQL Server versions to SQL Server 12, including converting DTS packages to SSIS;
Install and configure SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS);
Perform command line DDL operations and scripting for database management;
Monitor and optimize database performance and efficiency;
Implement security measures and best practices for SQL Server databases.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $67,981.38 - $120,000.00 per year
