This role involves designing, programming, testing, and commissioning automation systems across diverse applications. Ideal candidates can independently manage project tasks, adapt quickly to new technologies, and maintain strong technical accuracy. Experience with Inductive Automation's Ignition is preferred.Planning & Project CoordinationReview and prioritize project scope, identifying key tasks and dependenciesDevelop detailed work plans, sequencing, and critical path analysisContribute to estimating efforts and align planned resources accordinglyBuild and maintain realistic schedules for engineering, FAT, installation, and startup Communicate schedule expectations with internal teams and leadershipUnderstand project milestones, success criteria, and phase deliverablesTechnical ImplementationDesign, program, test, and commission control systems using PLC, HMI, and SCADA platformsCollaborate with engineering teammates to ensure accurate and timely executionTrack progress against budget and proactively address variancesCoordinate procurement of hardware, software, and vendor componentsMaintain strong customer relationships and provide responsive technical support throughout the project lifecycleREQUIREMENTS:At least 5+ years of hands on experience delivering full lifecycle PLC/SCADA automation projectsStrong proficiency with Rockwell Studio 5000; experience with one or more of the following is a plus: Wonderware, Siemens S7, Client iFIX, Ignition, Opto 22Ability to independently drive engineering tasks from requirements through startup Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent troubleshooting, diagnostics, and analytical thinkingProven time management and project coordination abilityHigh learning aptitude and willingness to adopt new platforms and tools quicklyTRAVEL:Approximately 15% overnight travelRegular travel to nearby client sites for project work and supportCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company matchOpportunities for technical growth, training, and long term career developmentWe are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
