Grow with us.The core responsibilities of this role include:Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift. Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock. Insure the exact number and type of products, ordered by the customer, are checked and loaded correctly. Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer's order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct. Changes equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power source as necessary. Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D. Maintain the facility and the facility's equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion. Inspect all operated equipment daily. Complete daily inspection of equipment. Assist in physical inventories. Perform other duties as assigned by management and the customer.Position: Seasonal Material Handler Shift: 2nd Monday - Thursday, Sunday 6:30pm - 3:00am Pay: $20.75 per hour plus $1.50 Shift Differential Additional Incentives: Earn an additional $1.50 per hour when assigned heavy lifting reponsibiltiesIn addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:Ability to spend 20% of time physically loading product onto equipment, pallets or totes. Working knowledge of warehouse management system equipment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work specified shifts. Ability to understand and follow work procedures and safety rules. Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions. Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products.
