FreedomDocs is looking for a Receptionist to join our team in our medical office.Qualifications RequiredExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProfessional and friendly demeanor when interacting with patients and healthcare professionalsAbility to manage and multitaskGreat attention to detailExperience with electronic health records (EHR)Basic knowledge of medical terminology, processes, and office proceduresRole and ResponsibilitiesActing as Host to a premier Direct Primary Care in central Indiana Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner ensuring they have a positive experienceProviding ideas and recommendations on improving brand experienceObtain, verify, and enter all required information from patients including demographic, insurance, credit cards, FAA documents and class Providing information about the facility's services, policies, and proceduresScan and index incoming documents to the patient's Elation chart or company filing system Provide positive and courteous customer service over the phone, while maintaining a professional presence at all time Filling where needed to assure excellent member experienceAll other duties as assignedEssential DutiesManaging the appointment and Google “out of office” calendarAnswer telephone/retrieving messages from Spruce promptly and professionally Maintain the waiting area, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for new and returning patients Schedule office appointments in computer system Collect copayments and process all incoming paymentsOrganizing and maintaining patient medical recordsCollaborating with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians and other administration staff Notifying appropriate internal personnel in case of emergencies or urgent situationsCoordinate physician communications with members, other providers, or outside constituents as directed by in-house doctors or Clinical Office ManagerSuccess Factors / Job CompetenciesWorking with Computers – Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) program, enter data, or process information.
