The Tenvoorde Family is seeking an amazing, experienced Fixed Operations Assistant Manager!

If so, we are looking for someone just like you! We need you to be the essential piece of the long-term success of Tenvoorde Ford’s service department. This is a dynamic position crossing all fixed operations departments. Due to the scope and fluidity of this position, a proven history of multi-departmental growth and leadership are required.
Responsibilities
What does a Fixed Operations Assistant Manager do?
Learn, know and master all aspects of Tenvoorde Ford fixed operations departments.
Working as a team with department managers to achieve goals and effectively manage the department.
Fill in for department managers during training, or PTO.
Have the flexibility to work projects or objectives in multiple fixed ops departments simultaneously.
Ensure crew actively provides excellent customer experience
Assist advisors with all aspects of the RO process including taking photos/videos, upselling and ensuring completion of RO
Manage WIP and push to complete jobs
Understand the shop’s financials to drive results and beat budget
Review and submit timesheets for payroll
Support all fixed operations employees with their duties
Support all fixed operations managers with lean management, goal setting, technology setup and maintenance, employee and customer concerns.
Take guidance from general manager in coordination with department manager.
Help grow new fleet service accounts and Mobile Service accounts.
Qualifications
3+ years fixed operations experience or 2+ years fixed operations management experience required.
Must have experience and knowledge of industry digital tools (X-time,Dealertrack, Ford Motor Company experience is a plus).
Must be the ultimate team player and contribute to each department.
Must be adaptive to and embrace change
Must be reliable
Must work with a high level of attention to detail, organization and accuracy.
Amazing work ethic
Ability to identify issues or inefficiencies, offer resolutions and communicate that information in a team friendly environment.
Clean driving record.
Good to Know Before You Start!
Be prepared to work 50 hours per week, 5 workdays per calendar week.
Basic computer skills are needed
You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
You may need to work in hot/cold weather conditions
Always be alert and aware of your surroundings
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
