Incumbents are subject to a variety of stressful situations while evaluating and improving support services for people with disabilities. Some work outside of normal office hours may be required.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in the broad field of human services or public administration AND BOTH two (2) years or more of experience at a professional level in a human services program INCLUDING the administration of services to people with disabilities or older adults AND two (2) years or more of experience with Medicaid programs administration.ORBachelor's degree in the broad field of human services or public administration AND BOTH four (4) years or more of experience at a professional level in a human services program INCLUDING two (2) years or more in the administration of services to people with disabilities, or older adults AND two (2) years or more of experience with Medicaid programs administration.OREight (8) years or more at a professional level in a human services program INCLUDING two (2) years or more in the administration of services to people with disabilities, or older adults AND two (2) years or more of experience with Medicaid programs administration.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Services, Public Administration, or a related fieldTwo years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in an administrative or supervisory roleKnowledge of state and federal regulations related to intellectual and developmental disabilitiesExperience working with individuals with disabilities and their familiesSpecial RequirementsCandidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position.
