Elementary Music Teacher

Overview We are seeking a passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess strong classroom management skills, and be dedicated to providing a nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning - Utilize learning technology to enhance teaching and student engagement - Provide early intervention and support for students with special education needs - Manage student behavior effectively, including working with children on the autism spectrum - Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum - Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student development - Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field - Teaching certification/license - Experience working with elementary school children - Proficiency in lesson planning and classroom management - Familiarity with behavior management techniques - Knowledge of early intervention strategies - Experience in a private school setting is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,350.00 - $56,883.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
