Director Of Patient Financial ServicesUnder the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Patient Financial Services is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of all patient financial services functions within the hospital. This includes billing, collections, insurance verification, patient access, financial counseling, and revenue cycle optimization. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while maximizing reimbursement and enhancing the patient financial experience.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field7--10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle or patient financial services3--5+ years in a leadership or director-level roleStrong knowledge of medical billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and claims processingKnowledge of HIPAA, CMS regulations, and healthcare compliance standardsIn-depth understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursementStrong analytical (reporting and revenue forecasting) and financial management skillsProficiency in ExcelProficiency with hospital billing systems and EHR platforms (e.g., Oracle /Cerner; EPIC)Payor Portals / Electronic Billing/Omin-pro and EpacesSaint Joseph's Medical Center is an equal opportunity employer.
