Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Controller to lead our accountingoperations in a high-growth, privately held SaaS company environment. This rolerequires a strong background in billing and accounts receivable, along with a trackrecord of leading and developing high-performing teams. You will oversee day-to-dayaccounting activities, while driving process improvements, rigor, and efficiency acrossbilling, accounts receivable, and revenue operations, and deliver actionable insights toleadership in support of the company’s growth and operational goals.Who you are:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)8+ years of progressive and verifiable technical accounting skillsMin 5+ years working with accrual accounting for companies with annual revenue between $25MM - $100MMMin 5+ years managing a team of 3 or more peopleStrong expertise in billing and accounts receivable operations, ideally in a complex or high-volume environmentProficiency with ERP systems, experience with Odoo a plusSkills & Attributes:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional attention to detail and organizational abilitiesCuriosity, Sense of Urgency & OwnershipEffective communicator with the ability to partner cross-functionallyResults-driven with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approachAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentThe Opportunity:Oversee and perform day-to-day accounting functions, journal entries, andreconciliationsManage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring driving speed,accuracy, and efficiencyIdentify opportunities to improve accounting, billing, and A/R processes andimplement best practicesAnalyze trends, perform analysis, and present data to company executivesDevelop and manage financial controls in accordance with company guidelinesPerform cash flow forecastingManage Payroll process, ADP, Payroll tax and complianceFile monthly B&O and quarterly L&I taxesBilling, A/R & Revenue OperationsOversee the full A/R cycle, including invoicing, collections, aging analysis,account pause and grace periodsLead all billing functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment withcustomer account modificationsEvaluate and optimize billing processes, systems, and controlsManage complex and diverse billing scenarios (e.g. Centralized Billing, 3rd PartyBilling, and subscription or usage-based models)Partner with Account Management, Sales, and Operations to ensure seamlessworkflows and maintain strong customer relationshipsLeverage automation to improve efficiency and accuracy across billing and A/RfunctionsDevelop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce DSO (DaysSales Outstanding)Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop an accounting team of 5, including AR, AP, andgeneral accounting staffPartner with executive leadership to provide financial insights andrecommendationsFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaborationOpportunity to make a significant impact in a growing, privately held companyCollaborative and entrepreneurial work environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits packageCareer growth and leadership development opportunitiesWho we are:Conversion Logix is one of the fastest growing private companies in the state of Washington.
