Job Title: Clinical Procurement ConsultantDuration: 03 months Location: Pleasanton, CA 94588Hours: 7am-7pm (needing flexibility) 8 hr shift Hybrid Schedule: Tuesday & Friday anchor daysQualifications: Experience2–3 years of experience in clinical trial budgeting, clinical procurement, or related rolesHands-on experience with clinical site budgets and data clean-upClinical KnowledgeStrong understanding of clinical trial terminologyFamiliarity with Site Payment Schedules and Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs)Procurement & FinanceExperience with clinical sourcing, cost benchmarking, or financial analysisExposure to diagnostics, pharma, or life sciences industry preferredTechnical SkillsAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Data Validation, data manipulation)Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization toolsAbility to work with proprietary/internal systemsCompliance & AccuracyUnderstanding of regulatory requirements for investigator payments and financial transparencyStrong attention to detail with an audit-ready mindset?Self-directed and comfortable working with minimal supervisionHighly detail-oriented with a quality-first approach to dataStrong problem-solving skills for handling ambiguous or incomplete datasetsAdaptable and quick to learn new systems and processes Responsibilities:Data HarmonizationReview, cleanse, and standardize unstructured clinical trial budget dataEnsure consistency across global studies, vendors, and trial phasesFMV Alignment & AnalysisAlign site budget line items with Fair Market Value (FMV) benchmarksIdentify discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standardsSystem IntegrationMap legacy and unstructured data into internal tools and databasesResolve inconsistencies in terminology, categorization, and cost structuresProcess DocumentationDevelop and maintain clear documentation, workflows, and “Source of Truth” frameworksSupport long-term data quality and repeatable budgeting processesStakeholder CollaborationPartner with Clinical Operations and Clinical eSolutions teamsValidate cost assumptions, procurement benchmarks, and data accuracy
