Supply Chain Specialist

What is the position?The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for processing purchasing transactions and maintaining inventories of materials, equipment, supplies, and products.What will you do?As a Supply Chain Specialist you will:Execute purchase orders and manage the end-to-end buying process (RFQs, bids, supplier selection, order placement)Monitor open orders and expedite materials to meet project schedulesServe as the main contact for suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and order statusResolve delivery delays, quality issues, and invoice discrepanciesMaintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)Collaborate with engineering, logistics, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with project needsSupport cost control, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiativesWhat are the requirements?1-2 years experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain operationsKnowledge of purchase order management and supplier negotiationsERP system experience (Oracle preferred)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related fieldPreferred: Experience with capital projects, engineered materials, and supplier performance metricsYou would be really happy working here if:You can be counted on in crucial times, possessing great focus while completing projects successfully and efficiently.Roadblocks don’t intimidate you.
