Maintenance Technician
Description
Pay Rate: $25.56/hr. Dependent on experience.
Shift: Swing - 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Sunday - Thursday.
Type: Full-time, non-exempt

PURPOSE
Perform maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and orderly appearance for all Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and inspect interior and exterior of all buildings
Complete work orders in a timely manner
Perform light carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs
Move office equipment and furniture as requested
Change light bulbs
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all tools and equipment
Maintain neat and clean appearance for entire property
Empty outdoor garbage cans and ashtrays
Remove garbage fro-m parking lots and sidewalks
Perform de-icing, snow shoveling, plowing and removal
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
Previous experience in the safe use and operation of power and hand tools, etc.
Previous experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment
Previous experience in grounds maintenance, snow removal, etc.
PREFERRED
Education and Experience
Previous experience in Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry and HVAC
Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
