Explore what we have to offer and help turn your talents into a rewarding career.Position SummaryThe Lease Up Manager leads applicant intake, documentation review, and approval workflow during the lease-up phase of a new community. This role is accountable for proactive applicant communication, verification of all required documents, and partnership with Community Managers and Operations Leadership to ensure complete and accurate files before approval.Essential ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Proactively manage outbound and inbound communication (phone, email, text) with applicants to gather required documentation within 48 hours of application completion. Thoroughly review and verify credit reports, income documents, and identification materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company standards. Verify the accuracy of applicant demographics and follow up with applicants to obtain missing or corrected information as needed. Monitor, track, and communicate documentation trends, accuracy patterns, and process gaps to Operations Leadership to support ongoing improvement. Partner closely with Community Managers to provide timely application updates and clearly outline next steps to ensure 100% document completion prior to approval. Perform additional responsibilities and support tasks assigned to meet business and operational needs. Additional ResponsibilitiesLeasing SupportProcess applications, verify availability, and submit files to the Property Manager / regional manager for approval. Type leases and input information into OneSite accurately and on time. Coordinate move-ins, including elevator scheduling, apartment inspections, and new resident orientation. Follow up on prospects daily and re-engage lost leads. Distribute and follow up on renewal notices. Team & LeadershipTrain, mentor, and motivate the leasing team. Set daily and weekly leasing goals with the Property Manager. Communicate company procedures and online leasing guidelines to the team. Shadow tours and provide coaching on closing techniques. Marketing & OutreachExecute on-site marketing and advertising plans. Manage outreach activities, weekly resident communications, realtor Hot Sheets, and E-blasts. Track market trends through outreach and market surveys. Skills For SuccessAssociate's Degree required, or equivalent experience. One (1) or more years of apartment leasing experience preferred. Lease-up experience strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable navigating multiple systems and conducting system audits for accuracy and compliance. Strong organization and time management to manage high volumes of applications and documentation deadlines. Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS), particularly OneSite, strongly preferred. Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
