We do, every day.The RoleThe Program Coordinator, ConnectUS provides essential operational, administrative and programmatic support to advance digital equity initiatives across the community. ConnectUS is a community-wide initiative to close the digital divide in Franklin County and sits within the Smart Columbus innovation lab.Reporting directly to the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator plays a critical supporting role in the day-to-day execution of programs, participant engagement, partnership coordination, data tracking and event logistics. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, reliable and service-minded professional passionate about community impact and gaining experience in program operations.Note: This role is grant-funded through 2027. Continued funding beyond 2027 is contingent upon securing additional funding streams.Reports to: Program Manager, ConnectUSEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProgram Operations and SupportProvide operational support for ConnectUS programs, including device distribution, digital skills training cohorts, participant recruitment, registration, onboarding and retention activities.Maintain accurate program records, databases, and tracking systems for participants, devices, outcomes, expenses and other key metrics.Support data collection, grant reporting, compliance documentation and preparation of regular progress reports.Support procurement, inventory management, scheduling and other day-to-day operational tasks.Attend program meetings to take notes, track action items, and support preparation of presentations, reports and documentation.Provide general administrative and project support to the Program Manager and broader ConnectUS team.Partnership and Stakeholder CoordinationServe as a primary point of contact for program participants, responding to inquiries, providing assistance and helping resolve day-to-day issues.Assist with partner onboarding, relationship management and ongoing communication with training providers, community organizations and coalition members.Act as a liaison between internal teams, external partners and participants to facilitate smooth collaboration.Help plan and coordinate meetings, events, convenings and training sessions, including logistics, materials preparation, attendee communications and follow-up.Other duties as assigned.Skills and QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in public administration, nonprofit management, communications, social sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience).2–4 years of experience in program coordination, administrative support or community program operations.Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and comfort with data management tools.Key Skills and ExperienceExcellent organizational and project coordination skills with strong attention to detail.Solid written and verbal communication abilities, including professional correspondence and meeting documentation.Experience supporting program data tracking, reporting and basic evaluation activities.Ability to build positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community partners and internal teams.Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Passion for digital equity, workforce development, and community impact initiatives.High degree of reliability, discretion and professionalism.Workplace EnvironmentSome travel around the Columbus Region will be required.The Columbus Partnership is an in-person work environment based in Downtown Columbus.Work hours are generally 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. or 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.Must be available to work occasional off-hours; events and meetings will involve some early mornings, evenings and weekends.May be required to work more than 8 hours during a workday as deadlines demand.We OfferA front-row leadership seat impacting our community’s future.Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage.Generous paid time off, parental leave and holidays.A 401(k) plan with an exceptional employer contribution.Professional development support.A modern downtown office with free parking.A high-impact, mission-driven team that’s doing big things for the Columbus Region.To ApplySend your resume and a short note of interest to careers@columbuspartnership.com with the subject line: Program Coordinator, ConnectUSThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
