User Experience Designer

Title: UX/UI DesignerLocation: RemoteHanwha Vision America (HVA) is an affiliate of the Hanwha Group, a Fortune Global 500 company. We offer end-to-end security solutions and have achieved global success across a wide range of industry verticals, including retail, transportation, education, banking, healthcare, hospitality, and airports.HVA is seeking a UX Designer to help shape intuitive, scalable, and modern user experiences across our product portfolio. This role requires a strong design practitioner who is highly proficient in Figma and comfortable operating in a cross-functional product development environment using Jira and Confluence. The ideal candidate brings both strong core UX capabilities and a forward-looking mindset around AI including experience using AI to improve design efficiency and experience contributing to products that incorporate AI-driven capabilities into the end-user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end user experiences for web and platform-based products, from discovery through final deliveryCreate user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in FigmaContribute to and evolve design systems, component libraries, and reusable interaction patternsPartner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and QA to translate requirements into clear and effective user experiencesDocument UX decisions, flows, design rationale, and requirements in ConfluenceWork within Jira to support backlog refinement, story definition, acceptance criteria alignment, and sprint executionUse AI tools to improve UX team efficiency, including ideation, research synthesis, content generation, prototyping support, and workflow accelerationHelp define and design product experiences that incorporate AI capabilities, such as intelligent search, recommendations, automation, summarization, or other AI-assisted workflowsEnsure AI-powered experiences are intuitive, useful, trustworthy, and aligned with user needsParticipate in design reviews, stakeholder discussions, and cross-functional workshops to drive clarity and alignmentRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in UX, product design, or interaction designStrong expertise in Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design systemsStrong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence in a product development environmentDemonstrated experience designing user flows and interfaces for complex digital productsExperience using AI tools to improve design workflows and increase team efficiencyExperience contributing to products or features that incorporate AI into the user experienceStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, and QAAbility to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraintsPreferred QualificationsExperience designing for SaaS or enterprise software productsExperience designing for video-based platformsExperience with AI-driven product patterns such as natural language interfaces, summarization, recommendations, or workflow automationFamiliarity with user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design improvementsExperience working with distributed or cross-functional teams in Agile environmentsUnderstanding of how to design responsible AI experiences, including transparency, control, and user trustBi-lingual in Korean and English
