This leader acts as a Product owner and is responsible for end-to-end planning systems from strategy, team development/leadership, business stakeholder management and delivery/maintenance of planning capabilities to support Vertiv’s business units. The position provides subject matter expertise in various domains of supply chain planning (demand, supply, manufacturing etc.) a hands-on systems knowledge and experience/exposure to AI in supply chain opportunities.ResponsibilitiesLead Supply Chain Planning Transformation ProgramResponsible for implementation of Advanced Planning capabilitiesManges portfolio of digital supply chain programs spanning across demand, supply, inventory and manufacturing planningWorks across teams and external partners to drive major transformation programScope, plan, and manage projects, quality of software development, risks, schedules, communication plans, and deliverables.Responsible for building a global template of supply chain planning capabilities and rollouts across 33+ and growing plants around the worldPlanning Product & ArchitectureBuild supply chain planning capabilities as a ProductServes as primary IT contact to business stakeholders for all things planningBrings a DevOps mindset and helps expand it into a CoE Responsible for standardizing the planning global template and baselining with industry and tool standards Orchestrate executive-level partnerships with global integrators, utilizing performance scorecards to drive excellence in sustainability, cost, and capacity.Owns and manages relevant KPIs Team Leadership and Talent DevelopmentMentor and grow a high-performing global team, fostering a data-driven culture to execute multi-year strategies Responsible for team development, hiring and onboarding new talent Thought Leadership & MentorshipRevolutionize end-to-end supply chain modelsServe as a senior technical mentor to data engineers, solution architects, and product teamsIntroduce best practices, emerging patterns, and modern architectural approachesInfluence stakeholders across business and technology with strong communication, storytelling, and technical depthRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field. MBA or master’s preferred but not required. 12+ years of progressive experience in implementing supply chain solutions for major companiesDeep domain expertise in supply chain planning across multiple capabilities of demand forecasting, multi-level integrated supply planning, distribution, inventory optimization, manufacturing planning and scheduling, ATP/CTPMultiple E2E implementations of advanced planning technologies including Kinaxis Rapidresponse/Maestro, O9, Blue YonderProven experience translating business processes into scalable digital solutionsExperience leading small to mid-size teams Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and supply chain strategies (ETO/CTO, MEIO, VMI etc)PreferredKinaxis Maestro authoring and solution consultant certificationsExperience enabling AI/ML for supply chain use casesPrior experience with global manufacturing environmentsBackground in solution architecture or enterprise architectureThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
