Sales Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Manager to contribute to the achievement of sales targets in the opening of our new location, Commission Row. This exciting new location will be a three-level operation featuring a steakhouse, a speakeasy and an event space located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The Sales Coordinator will work in tandem with our Event Coordinator to manage sales activities and maintain good customer relationships. The Sales Manager's responsibilities include supporting sales, ensuring order satisfaction, coordinating with other departments, motivating staff, handling administrative duties, and promoting customer satisfaction.
To be a successful sales leader, you should have excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills. You should also possess strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for generation, booking and detailing the events at Commission Row.
Respond promptly to all guest inquiries
Maintain a database of existing clients and add proactively solicit new client business
Assist in the creation of the event sales and marketing plan, as well as be able to execute the plan as approved
Communicate all details with the Event Coordinator, front, and back of the house
Make arrangements as required for outside vendors, ie; entertainment, valet, florist, audio/visual etc.
Follow up with client after the event and complete satisfaction survey
Maintain a file or database on the event and results
Perform any other related duties as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of sales experience
Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Current knowledge of industry trends
