Senior Accountant

Join to apply for the Senior Accountant role at Truemed . We are seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen and scale our financial operations and reporting. In this hands‑on role, you will own month‑end close and handle daily accounting activities. You will build scalable systems and provide insights that support strategic decision‑making, working closely with the VP of Finance. Responsibilities Manage the month‑end and year‑end close process, including consolidations, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. Maintain documentation for reporting and investor requirements Support tax preparation and filings Accounting Operations & Systems Build and implement accounting processes, systems, and internal controls Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger management Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and documentation to support compliance and operational efficiency. Strategic & Operational Support Perform monthly flux and variance analysis Collaborate with the VP of Finance and leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models Conduct financial analysis and provide ad‑hoc reporting and support as needed to inform decision‑making and drive business growth Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, CPA or CPA‑track strongly preferred Big Four or national firm experience preferred but not required 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in an early or growth‑stage environment Strong operational experience with proficiency with ERP systems and processes. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
