The Director drives accountability across all EVS operations, manages budgets effectively, develops on-site teams, and fosters a culture of engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement.This role plays a key part in achieving client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring service excellence, and maintaining long-term account retention.Essential FunctionsDevelop and implement short- and long-term EVS operational strategies in partnership with client and regional leadership.Lead and support on-site EVS managers and teams to deliver consistent quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.Maintain full P&L responsibility for assigned EVS operations, ensuring sound financial management and margin improvement.Conduct regular client meetings and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess performance and identify opportunities for service enhancement.Oversee training, onboarding, and performance development of EVS leaders and hourly colleagues in collaboration with the People & Culture team.Serve as a key recruiter and developer of future XENDELLA management talent within EVS operations.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as infection control and safety standards.Promote operational excellence by identifying and implementing innovative practices and process improvements.Manage and strengthen client relationships to support satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities.Partner with business leaders to drive alignment between EVS operations and broader organizational goals.Maintain readiness for inspections, audits, and crisis management situations, escalating issues as appropriate to Executive Leadership.Collaborate across departments (Facilities, Plant Operations, Patient Transport, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery.Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.Skills & CompetenciesStrong Leadership and Team DevelopmentOperational Excellence and Continuous ImprovementStrategic and Critical ThinkingFinancial and Performance ManagementClient/Customer Relationship ManagementEffective Communication and CollaborationBusiness Acumen and Project ManagementPresentation and Problem-Solving SkillsSupervisory ResponsibilityThe Director oversees EVS managers and frontline team members within the assigned portfolio and is responsible for their performance, training, and professional development.Work EnvironmentThis position operates within client facilities and a professional office setting. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers are routinely used. The role requires frequent site visits to ensure operational standards are consistently met.Physical DemandsThe employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; and visually and audibly monitor operational activities. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.Required Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Hospitality, or related field desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience.5–7 years of multi-site EVS management experience, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or senior living environments.Demonstrated success in leading teamsProven ability to drive client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance.All selected candidates must undergo a Level 2 background check: HB531 | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration
