Dip Spin Operator- Machine OperatorMachine Operator - Heat Treatment, Barrell Zinc, and Dip Spin operatorLocation: Greenfield, IndianaShift: All training takes place on 1st shift, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Once you are done training, you can pick between the 2nd shift or the 3rd Shift. Our 2nd shift is 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday-Friday) and the 3rd shift is 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.Pay: $21.00 per hour for 1st shift, $22.00 per hour for 2nd shift, $23.00 per hour for 3rd shiftThis is your opportunity to:Grow your skills in a fast-paced, team-driven environmentBe recognized for your contributionsBuild a long-term career with real advancement opportunitiesPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities:Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:Perform routine set-up and changeover of machines, adjusting as needed to process operations accordingly.Run orders per product specifications and standard practices. This may include sorting, labeling, and packaging products per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practicesPerform tests and check products routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring tools, calipers, micrometers etc.Understand and implement quality standards and proceduresMeet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity.Follow standard operating procedures and specifications or instructions of higher-level technical personnel and monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.Maintain work area with necessary supplies to complete processes- 4S+ standard workOperate heavy equipment necessary to move, load, and ship material and/or finished products throughout the manufacturing environment.Support inventory accuracy by completing cycle counts and correct discrepancies to achieve business goals.Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals.Contribute and participate in team decision making processes including problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
