Facilities Custodian- 2nd shift

This position is responsible for ensuring all offices and other specifically assigned areas of the facility are kept in clean and orderly condition. Priority areas will include all non-factory parts of the facility.Hours 3pm-11pmMajor ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain offices, restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, hallways, production areas, and common spacesSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfacesEmpty trash and recycling containers throughout the facilityRestock restroom and cleaning supplies as neededClean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as requiredMaintain cleanliness of cafeterias, conference rooms, and training areasFollow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipmentSupport housekeeping expectations throughout the plant and assist with special cleaning projectsIdentify and report maintenance or safety concerns to managementAssist with facility setup or cleanup for meetings, events, or company activitiesOperate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment safely and effectivelyHelp maintain outside areas including entrances, sidewalks, and seasonal duties as neededFollow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standardsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferredAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong attention to detail and reliabilityAbility to follow instructions and safety proceduresPositive attitude and willingness to support team needsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeFrequently bend, stoop, lift, and reachAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicalsWhy THK?At THK, we don’t just offer jobs, we build careers.
