Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Electrical Field Engineer to support field operations on active construction projects. This role involves interpreting design documents, coordinating with field leadership, managing materials, and supporting cost, quality, and documentation controls. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is eager to grow a career in the electrical construction industry.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate field operations and planning with the Electrical SuperintendentRead and interpret specifications, plans, subcontracts, and shop drawingsTake field measurements and perform quantity takeoffsAssist with field layouts and conduit routing plansSupport electrical material and equipment procurementManage materials inventory and assist with field quality controlAssist with project cost control activitiesMaintain accurate project documentation and recordsPrepare and manage shop drawing submittalsIdentify and assist with change orders and potential claimsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related fieldStrong interest in electrical construction and field-based project workAbility to work outdoors in an active construction environmentAbility to collaborate effectively with other trades and project teamsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to perform in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelSelf-motivated with a willingness to take on challenges and responsibilitiesExperience with BIM or other computer design software preferredCompensation Range: $70,000-$80,000
