Job LocationIOWA CITY PLANTJob DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled E&I / ICA Technician to support industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in a high-performance manufacturing environment. This role focuses on safe execution, automation support, and continuous improvement across production systems and capital projects.What You’ll DoSupport site electrical and ICA systems, projects, and master plans Provide PLC and control system programming and troubleshooting support Support equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and best practices Maintain accurate electrical drawings, control documentation, and BOMs Participate in project meetings and vendor acceptance testing Drive system reliability, standardization, and continuous improvement Key Responsibilities:Supports and assists in executing strategies in team / organization.Participates in the development and implementation of new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products under guidance.Focus on specific tasks or segments within a brand, channel, line, category or team / organization with clearly defined and narrow objectives.Collaborates and networks effectively within immediate team or work domain as required to maximize job impact and personal learning.Works under direct supervision, follows well-defined precedents and policies.Job QualificationsRequired Experience LVQ qualified or able to pass LVQ qualification testingExperience with 480 VAC, 120 VAC, and 24 VDC industrial control systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical education Minimum 18 Years OldBe able to read, write, communicate, and understand EnglishWear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes) Must work rotating shiftsHandle Fast-Paced EnvironmentWork around high-speed equipmentPreferred ExperiencePLC programming experience with Rockwell ControlLogix and/or Siemens TIA Portal Experience with EtherNet/IP and Profinet networks Hands-on experience with instrumentation (pressure, temperature, level, flow) Exposure to VFDs, servo systems, robotics (ABB), vision systems, or HVAC controls Project experience supporting electrical and automation scopes Why Join UsWork with advanced industrial automation technologies Hands-on role supporting critical manufacturing systems Strong focus on safety, training, and career development Collaborative, team-oriented environment Starting Pay: $31.40 per hourCompensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
