Customer Acquisition Manager (Demand Generation & Growth)Location: Chesapeake, VA Type: Full-Time | In-PersonWe’re looking for a growth-focused marketer to help generate qualified inbound leads and build a predictable sales pipeline for our advertising company.The Customer Acquisition Manager is responsible for building and maintaining a consistent, high-volume pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team.This role uses the same tools, channels, and strategies we deliver to clients, applied to our own business, to drive inbound demand, generate opportunities, and lower the cost of acquiring new customers.You will also help position our local leadership as visible marketing authorities by developing and growing locally relevant content.This role connects:strategycontentpaid mediaand lead generationinto a single, measurable growth system.What You’ll Own1. Pipeline Creation & Lead GenerationDesign and execute campaigns to generate inbound leadsUse a mix of:paid media (social, search, display)owned media (website, email, podcast, radio)earned media (organic social, content distribution)Build and optimize funnels that move prospects from awareness to inquiryYou are responsible for the volume and quality of opportunities entering the pipeline.2. Campaign Strategy & ExecutionDetermine how to use available channels to drive demandAllocate budget across campaigns based on performanceLaunch, monitor, and improve campaigns continuouslyWork with internal teams to ensure campaigns are built and executed properlyYou don’t rely on one channel—you build a system that works together.3. Performance Measurement & OptimizationTrack and improve:cost per lead (CPL)cost per acquisition (CPA)lead-to-opportunity conversion ratesUse data to refine targeting, messaging, and channel mixEnsure campaigns improve over time through testing and iterationYou make growth measurable and repeatable.4. Podcast & Thought Leadership DevelopmentWork with local leadership to develop a podcast focused on marketing, advertising, and business growthPlan content around:the most searched and asked questions by local business ownersreal challenges businesses face in your marketCoordinate recording, publishing, and distributionUse the podcast to generate awareness, trust, and inbound leadsYou help turn local leaders into recognized voices in the market.5. Content Planning & Market RelevanceIdentify topics that are actively being searched by business ownersAlign content with real demand in the marketEnsure all content supports lead generation and positioningWork with content and creative teams to produce assetsYou ensure what we create is relevant and useful—not generic.6.
