Project Manager/Estimator

Scott's Electric is looking for a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in Wahpeton, ND. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality electrical projects from bid to completion while working closely with our team, clients, and subcontractors.Essential Functions:Plan for and prepare estimates for electrical construction workDirect resources and coordinates activities involved with electrical construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and electrical systemsDevelop and maintain a positive working relationship with project owners and design teamsDevelop project estimate budgetsCollaborate with vendors and others within the trade to execute subcontracts and purchase ordersCalculation of change proposalsReviews and approves product shop drawingsCoordinates labor, material and equipment needs for projectsVerifies work is completed as estimated and conforms to project specificationsCommunicate with owners, contractors, and design team to resolve work procedure, construction, and complaint issuesDetermine labor requirements for productive project progressQualifications:Associate's degree in an approved electrical course studyMinimum 8 years electrical field experienceJourneyman or Master Electrical license in ND or MNSkills and AbilitiesComputer knowledge using Microsoft Office, Procore and estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, etc.)Ability to organize, prioritize and meet strict deadlinesAbility to adapt to change within the workplaceAbility to work with a wide range of personalities and always maintain a professional demeanorQuality written, verbal and communication skillsFoster a positive and productive environment within the company teamWhy Scott's Electric?Established company with over 35 years in the industryStrong mix of commercial, agricultural, and utility workOpportunity to work on a variety of projects across the tri-state areaTeam focused on quality work and getting the job done right
