Asset Management Counsel

About the RoleOur client is seeking an Asset Management Counsel to work closely with its capital formation and investor relations team. This role sits within the Legal and Compliance function and partners cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across the firm. The position focuses on supporting fund marketing, investor communications, regulatory compliance, and ongoing investor diligence across a global alternative investment platform.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working directly with business teams, and brings strong experience within the alternative investment industry.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the capital formation and investor relations team on all aspects of fund marketing and investor engagementSupport investment and ongoing investor due diligence processesReview and draft investor communications, reporting materials, and bespoke documents requested by prospects and investorsAdvise on public-facing communications and marketing materialsAssist with LP transfers and related documentationSupport domestic and international regulatory compliance mattersDraft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreementsCollaborate with legal, compliance, and front- and back-office teams across the organizationQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) with 2–3+ years of relevant legal experiencePrior experience in the alternative investment industry, including capital formation and investor relations supportStrong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilitiesProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, often involving senior leadershipHighly organized with strong attention to detailStrong work ethic and interest in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
