Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Lead and manage nursing staff in the Emergency Services unit, including recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluations. Coordinate patient care within the emergency department, ensuring compassionate, efficient, and high-quality service. Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource management, and equipment maintenance. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and accreditation standards related to emergency care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient flow and optimize emergency care delivery. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in an emergency care setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) is preferred.
