Job Full Description1st shift - Welder needed in Menomonee Falls, pay starts at $20 - $28/hr. (based on experience) Duties:Able to properly setup the machine per job/customer requirementsAnalyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.Check grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments.Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, or other foreign matter.Qualifications:Must be organized, detail oriented and dependable.Must have high school diploma or equivalent.Must have extensive welding experience.Must be able to read complex blue prints.Must have own tools.
