What to Expect Tesla Motors is looking for an experienced Mobile Tyre Technician to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position requires a significant amount of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service. This position will service the Sydney area; however, the role will require daily travel within the region directed by Mobile Tyre Dispatch team. More details about the job are listed below: What You'll Do Remove, replace, repair, diagnose the full range of tyres on Tesla customer and internal vehicles, remotely on site or at service centres. Perform basic inspections, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles as required. Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications Maintain records of time, expenses and materials Help maintain cleanliness of service vehicles Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines Support other Mobile Service technicians and Tesla Service Centres as needed Daily regional travel What You'll Bring Experience with mounting and balancing tyres and tyre repairs Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions Valid driver's license with a clean driving history Must be comfortable with daily regional travel and operating a large service vehicle Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public and multiple internal stakeholders Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and a dynamic work environment Must display a sense of urgency when responding to customer Roadside Assistance needs Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities Compensation and Benefits Benefits In addition to a competitive compensation package, Tesla Australia & New Zealand is pleased to offer the following benefits for permanent employees: Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Parental leave (no minimum employment period) Primary carers - 18 weeks at full pay or 36 weeks half pay Secondary carers - 6 weeks full pay Employee Vehicle Loan Program Novated Leasing (AU only) Well-being Fund - An annual allowance for all employees to support their well-being in ways that are meaningful to them Bike to work - $10 per day if you cycle to work Birthday Leave & Volunteer Leave Some eligibility criteria may apply, benefits detailed above are subject to change / withdrawal at Tesla's discretion with no prior notice.
